Full Biography
Wendy Vonderhaar dove head first into agency ownership in 1999 when she purchased a small graphic design firm, Lodge & Associates, and went on to build it into a full-service branding and communications agency serving clients in one of the world’s largest brand hubs. The agency boasts an impressive client roster including P&G, American Modern Insurance Group, NKU and Johnson Investment Council as well as a long list of industry awards and a talented team of professionals.
Prior to purchasing Intrinzic, Vonderhaar was a Manager with Deloitte Consulting where she led strategic planning and operational improvement initiatives for clients in the healthcare, insurance and consumer products industries. Wendy began her career at Convergys serving in both marketing and product management roles supporting their telecom software products.
Wendy is very active in the community and drives this mindset at Intrinzic. She currently serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, NKU’s College of Informatics and the Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club. She recently wrapped up board assignments including United Way’s Tocqueville Society and Catholic Charities. In addition, Intrinzic has provided pro-bono services to all of these organizations and many others such The Brandery, Pets for Patients and Portrait of a Soul to name a few.
Wendy’s honors include being named a Distinguished Entrepreneur by NKU, the 100 Heroes and Community Service Award from United Way, the WE Celebrate Community Impact Award from the Cincinnati Chamber, the Women of Influence Award from Venue Magazine and the Women Making a Difference award from Notre Dame Academy.
Wendy graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, Ky in 1986 where she excelled in the classroom and was a varsity athlete in swimming and cross country. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Miami University and her MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
In 1995, Wendy married Gregg Vonderhaar, fellow Miami University Alum, making them a “Miami Merger.” Gregg is an Investment Executive at Merrill Lynch and manages their Northern Kentucky office. They currently live in Lakeside Park, Ky with their three teenage children.
