Madeline Bell, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia


Madeline Bell is the President and CEO of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the top ranked children’s hospital in the United States. From 2007 to 2015, Madeline served as the Chief Operating Officer at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In that role, she managed over 13,000 employees for the $2 billion a year health system. During her tenure, she has led significant growth while maintaining the financial strength and clinical excellence of the organization.

A woman who’s mission is to direct and manage more than 12,000 hospital employees to remain patient focused and engaged fully in their work.
