Denise Evans, the Vice President of Women and Diverse BTB Marketing at IBM, shared the story behind her title with us on July 1st, 2018.

Denise is Vice President, Women & Diverse BtB Marketing for the IBM Corporation.  She leads an organization responsible for ensuring that businesses owned by Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans in North America and women-owned, led and influenced businesses, globally – understand how to build smarter businesses that will change how the world works.

Denise has served globally in numerous leadership and executive positions in IBM including Directors of Global e-business, Global Customer Loyalty, and Global eRelationship Marketing.  

Denise currently serves on the Board or Advisory Board of Directors of the Women Presidents Organization, Enterprising Women Magazine, the Global Summit of Women, the Galt Foundation, the National Alliance for Mental Illness-Maryland, and the S.O.L.V.E. Group.  She is a member of the IBM Faculty for Global Sales Schools and an expert community member of the Catalyst organization.  Denise has been featured as an awardee in Working Mother, Women’s Enterprise, Uptown Professional, and Savoy Magazines.  She received the “Woman of Impact Leadership” Award from Impact Leadership 21 at the United Nations and the “World of Difference” Award from The International Alliance of Women.
