Annie Scranton, President and Founder of Pace Public Relations, shared the story behind her title with Women To Watch Media® on July 5, 2020.

Annie Pace Scranton grew up on the Jersey Shore with her Mom, Dad, and bother and admits she had a pretty traditional childhood. As a young girl, she loved watching Katie Couric and inspired her to go into media. Fast forward to May 2010, when Annie proudly started her PR agency, Pace PR.

Before forming Pace Public Relations, Annie worked for eight years as a seasoned television producer, booking for major networks such as CNN, Fox News, CNBC, MSNBC & ABC. TV is definitely a specialty of Annie’s, combining her unique understanding of behind-the-scenes television producing, alongside her unparalleled list of contacts. Pace PR has multiple clients on national + local TV every single day, including CNBC, Fox News, HLN, MSNBC, Fox Business Network, Bloomberg TV, and many others.

Working in an industry to get people noticed and on TV is not an easy job. “While we are certainly not saving lives,” it’s a difficult job to have our clients be at the top of the list of the numerous networks looking for stories.  What we can do is be sure our own reputations are one of integrity so that when we make that pitch, people pay attention.
