Angela D. Reddix is a visionary and innovative thinker with global perspective and entrepreneurial drive. As a passionate mentor and advisor to the next generation of young girls and women, Angela is a leading advocate for entrepreneurship as a way of creating positive transformation in the world.

Entrepreneurship came early in Angela’s career. Having worked within the healthcare industry for several years, Angela recognized there was a gap in delivery. In 2006, Angela founded ARDX, an award-winning healthcare management and IT consulting firm dedicated to improving the lives of our nation’s most vulnerable populations. What began as a unique endeavor in the garage of her home, quickly emerged as a thriving boutique firm with multi-million-dollar contracts, a staff of 125 with offices in Virginia and Maryland. Most importantly, it ignited her life’s mission in helping young girls and women achieve their dreams through entrepreneurship.

Creating a strong ecosystem for women entrepreneurs of tomorrow, Angela founded Envision Lead Grow, a Norfolk-based nonprofit organization aspiring girls of all ages to chart their destiny, by teaching them the critical skills and dedication it takes to accomplish their dreams through becoming an entrepreneur. This summer, the Envision Lead Grow team will kick-off their 7-city bus tour, traveling throughout the country to inspire 1,000 girls in helping them build their future through entrepreneurship…one girl at a time.

Understanding the pressures that young girls and women face each and every day, Angela founded the ARDX Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to shining a light on the importance that positive mental wellness can have. The Foundation sponsors a variety of programs including internship opportunities, to healthy living programs. This year, the Foundation’s leading program, The Women’s Wellness Celebration, will be hosting their 10-year celebration on October 20th, where they will provide resources that will transform the lives of women and their families.

Angela’s unique ability to inspire greatness through the lessons of her own story earned her the 2017 Women of Achievement Award, presented by Old Dominion University. As a trusted community leader, Angela resides as a board member and trustee to various local organizations including the United Way Tocqueville Society, United Way of South Hampton Roads Foundation Board of Trustees, YWCA Board of Directors, Junior Achievement Board of Directors, Norfolk State University School of Business Advisory Board, and the Hampton Roads Chamber Regional and Trustee Board.

As a lifelong learner, Angela has received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Marketing from James Madison University, a master’s degree in Organizational Development from Bowie State University with a focus on Training, a graduate certificate in Healthcare Compliance from The George Washington University, and is due to complete her PhD in business at Oklahoma State University in December 2017.  Angela was born in Norfolk, VA. and enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids.
