Krista L. Sherkey is the founder and president of M. Pitcher – a creative firm specializing in branding, marketing, strategic communications, advocacy outreach and philanthropic program development in support of veterans and military family initiatives. In addition to leading M. Pitcher, Mrs. Sherkey serves as the Strategic Communications Advisor to the Global War on Terror Memorial Foundation in Washington, D.C. The Global War on Terror Memorial Foundation is a non-profit whose mission is to provide the organizing, fundraising, and coordinating efforts to build a memorial on the National Mall in Washington D.C. to honor our fallen warriors, US services members, their families, and all those who supported our nation’s longest war.
