Kelsey Trainer, a lawyer, producer, and writer, will share the story behind her title with us on August 23, 2023.
Kelsey currently serves as in-house counsel for a national media company. Formerly, Kelsey worked for the hit CBS series Blue Bloods. As a two-sport collegiate athlete and former college coach, Kelsey writes for a number of publications regarding issues related to collegiate athletics, equality in sports, and more.
Kelsey’s strong legal acumen is informed not only by private practice, but also having served two years as Judicial Law Clerk in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, Civil Division. In this role, Kelsey gained important insight into the adjudicative process and honed her analytical skills by drafting of judicial opinions. She also developed solid negotiation and mediation skills through her frequent leadership of pretrial and settlement conferences. Before graduating from law school, Kelsey had served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division.
Kelsey mentors aspiring lawyers by volunteering as a District Coordinator in Delaware County for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Mock Trial Competition.
