Julia Stewart, Founder & CEO of Alurx, shared the story behind her title with us on January 24, 2024.

Julia is on a mission – to enable wellness for all. As a member of Fortune magazine’s list of Top 50 Most Powerful Women in the U.S., Julia has built and grown successful brands for over 40 years. She has climbed the ladder up to executive leadership for companies like Taco Bell, Applebee’s, IHOP, and Dine Brands Global, Inc.  Julia has always understood the benefits of maintaining a balance between body, mind, and spirit and holds this philosophy as the foundation of her endeavors. 

In 2020, Julia launched Alurx to offer health-conscious individuals with a consistent, proven line of wellness-based solutions that can be personalized to match their goals. Its wellness information, advice, and products are developed and curated by the AMEC, Alurx Medical & Expert Council.

Julia is an active philanthropist, sponsoring organizations such as Lupus LA, Children’s Bureau, and is a founding member of Women’s Foodservice Forum. Julia also serves as an independent director for Avery Dennison (NYSE: AVY), Fogo de Chao’s Restaurants, and Bite Acquisition, Corp. (NYSE: BITE). Julia is also a sought-after speaker on leadership, brand development, team building, and growth management. Julia’s engagements include keynote speaker at the MEG Convention and at the Kona Ice and JVS Conventions; presenting the commencement address at USC Marshall School of Business; guest lecturer at the UCLA  Anderson School of Management Leadership Series; keynote speaker at the International Franchise Association Conference and offering the commencement speech at the Culinary Institute of America. The idea of having a plan has always been a struggle for me.  I am one of those people that truly lives in the moment.  What I learned from Julia is that having a plan can actually be fun!  And having some kind of direction is the best way to relieve stress in life.
