Full Biography

President of Aileron (2003), oversees Aileron’s strategic direction, culture, and operational activities.

Career Journey

• The Iams Company: Brand Manager/Category Manager – Iams and Eukanuba 1992-1997
• Prior to Aileron co-founded a technology services company and became an Aileron client herself, taking the Course for Presidents, establishing an outside board and utilizing strategic planning. The company grew from 2 to 100 employees in five years, and was named by the Cincinnati Business Courier as one of the 25 fastest growing companies in the region.
• After selling this business, Joni and her husband bought another business that they operated for seven years before successfully selling.

Other Experience
Joni received her MBA from Xavier University and her bachelor’s degree in business from Miami University of Ohio. She was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Cincinnati Entrepreneur of the Year award, and has been honored with the DBJ’s Forty under Forty award. She currently sits on two boards of advisors and is a certified IPEC coach.

Personal
Joni and her husband Jim live in Cincinnati and have three children.
