Dr. Alison Thompson, Ambassador to Haitian Ministry of Environment and Founder of Third Wave Volunteers,  shared the story behind her title with us on December 2, 2018.

Alison grew up in Australia with a father who was a preacher. He introduced his children to missionary work at a very young age. This experience fueled Alison’s innate compassion and desire to help others, and has led to enormous global impact through her volunteer organization of over 30,000. Her story is one of absolute determination.
