My core value is to be happyCarrie Kerpen
Carrie Kerpen, the co-founder and CEO of Likeable Media, a digital agency that was named Crain’s sixth Best Place to Work in NYC, shared the story behind her title with Women To Watch Media® on May 17, 2020.
In recognition of her work championing change in the advertising industry, Carrie was honored by the inaugural Campaign US Female Frontier Awards. She is the author of WORK IT: Secrets for Success from the Boldest Women in Business and a columnist for INC and Forbes. Carrie has been featured in the New York Times, ABC World News Tonight, FOX News, and CNBC. She has keynoted conferences in London, Las Vegas, Mexico City, and New York, among others.
Carrie is a Queens native, growing up in one of the most diverse counties in the world. As a result, her upbringing was eclectic and her small apartment was filled with sights, sounds and smells from many different cultures. Though she now lives in Port Washington, Long Island, she considers herself forever a Queens girl.
Carrie is not your typical CEO. I would say she is much more engaged with and connected to her employees than most CEOs. Perhaps that’s why they were nominated one of the best places to work in NY. Carrie’s goal to be in the moment and happy as often as possible is an important lesson for all CEOs.
