Alexis is an internationally recognized speaker, media personality, activist, and author. She is a proud Latina originally from Texas. Alexis grew up with four older brothers and moved to Los Angeles where she completed her undergrad and Masters both from USC. Alexis wrote the book, I AM THAT GIRL and her most recent book, Joy Hunter published by Penguin/ Random House was released June 2023. Alexis has a passionate, online community of over 1.2M+ people. She has hosted a TV show on the Red Carpet, worked on shows at Fox Sports, ESPN, CBS, MTV, and TLC. Alexis also created ProtectHer, an educational program for men on the importance of respecting women and has been invited to speak in Division I locker-rooms, board rooms, and war rooms all over the country.

Alexis’ TEDx talk has had 1M+ views and her ProtectHer documentary is currently being aired on Amazon Prime. Alexis has been a consultant for NETFLIX and executive produced A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story which received nine out of nine film festivals awards after its debut at SXSW. Living at the intersection of activism and entertainment, Alexis has been invited to speak at The White House, The United Nations, Harvard, Stanford, USC, West Point, The Naval Academy, ESPN, NIKE, Facebook, Google, DELL, SXSW Main stage, The NFL and The Girl Scouts.

Alexis won The 2018 Jefferson Award, our country’s highest national honor for public service alongside others such as RBG, Steve Jobs and Oprah.
